About Us
Our History
Dodie and Rosie Rosenberg, with Paul and Marie Bailey, began their Elephant Ear business over 40 years ago. Sisters Rosie and Marie began selling Elephant Ears in 1980; within two years of opening, both couples decided to create individual businesses (Dodies Concessions/Bailey's Concessions). While separated, each couple was able to create successful routes that traveled across the state of Michigan to various fairs and festivals.
In 1985, Steven Rosenberg, alongside his father Dodie, built a French Fry Wagon. The French Fry Wagon worked alongside the Elephant Ear Wagon with Arnold Amusements. Two years later, Dodie and Rosie bought a route from Ralph Horrocks and Steven took over the Elephant Ear Wagon with Arnold Amusements. Steven continued with Arnold Amusements until summer of 1991 when he brought the wagons home and got a full time job for CCX.
Over the next few years, Steven built up a small route consisting of locations around the state of Michigan. Steven continued working these locations for many years until meeting his wife, Sherri. The two fell in love with working the route together with their family and friends and were able to add additional locations.
After 12 years of hard work and dedication, the couple was blessed by being able to expand by purchasing "Bailey’s Concessions" from Steven’s Aunt, Marie Bailey.
Over the last 6 years, Steven and Sherri Rosenberg with the help of family and many friends, have continued building their business to be what it is today. Steven and Sherri are thankful for all the support they have received and thank each and every one who has helped "S&S Baileys" be what it is today! Most importantly they thank the Lord for what they have today!
